RIYADH — The Saudi national football team will participate in the 2025 and 2027 editions of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, beginning with the upcoming tournament hosted by the United States and Canada from June 14 to July 6, 2025.

Saudi Arabia joins eight other teams that have already secured spots for the 2025 Gold Cup: Canada, Curacao, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, and the United States.

The remaining seven teams will be decided through qualifiers scheduled for March 2025, with the tournament draw set for April 10, 2025.

The 2025 Gold Cup will take place in 14 stadiums across 11 cities in the United States and Canada, five of which will also host matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Saudi Arabian Football Federation President Yasser Al Misehal emphasized the Kingdom’s growing international football presence, crediting the leadership’s unwavering support and the Ministry of Sports’ efforts to provide resources for the team’s development.

Al Misehal highlighted that the Saudi national team’s participation in this prestigious tournament aligns with plans to strengthen the team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will also be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
